The App Attention Span
As mobile device usage is increasing, so are expectations for application performance. And, when applications fail to perform, consumers are frequently feeling disappointment and frustration. The App Attention span examines how increased mobile device usage and performance expectations are impacting consumer behavior and what implications this has on businesses.
The study was conducted by AppDynamics, in partnership with the Institute of Management Studies (IMS) at Goldsmiths, University of London. The report also includes findings from a survey involving 2,000 adult smartphone and tablet owners from the US and UK.
